How do you post the same short video to Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts?
Last updated: October 27, 2026
In short: To post the same video on all three platforms, you prepare it once in a vertical format, write a title and description for each platform and schedule the post. You can do it by hand by opening each app in turn, or use a tool that posts to all three at once. Wiozen Forge publishes the video on your connected Instagram, TikTok and YouTube accounts, with text written separately for each platform, at your account's posting time.
Prepare the video once, vertically
All three platforms show short videos vertically and full screen on a phone, so one vertical file is enough; you don't need a separate edit for each. Watch the edges: the like, comment and share buttons sit on the right and the caption sits at the bottom. Keep your logo, title and any important text closer to the middle of the screen.
Forge prepares the video at 1080×1350 (4:5) with a template for your brand. There are 12 ready layouts that use your logo and color, or you can upload your own template. The title is burned into the video, so viewers see the topic without opening the caption.
Write separate text for each platform
Copying the same caption to all three works, but the text fields differ. YouTube has a separate title and description; Instagram and TikTok have one caption. If you run several accounts, the same video going out with the same text on each of them also looks copied.
Forge writes the title and description with AI, separately for every account and platform. You set a topic, tone and language in the account settings, and the text follows them. The writing runs on the Forge connection key in your Wiozen account and is charged by usage from your Wiozen balance; it isn't part of the plan price. If your balance runs out, the title is written without AI from the details you gave.
Choose when to post
Posting by hand means scheduling in each app separately. In Forge, every account has its own posting times (Turkey time). A new video is scheduled for the account's next free time and goes out on the platforms you picked at that time. The platforms come from the account's defaults, and you can change them when adding a video.
If you don't know which times work, Forge suggests them from your own data. Once you have at least 8 videos posted in the last 60 days, it looks at each video's views about a day after posting and shows up to 3 hours that did better than average.
Platforms also limit how much you can post per day. Forge makes at most 50 Instagram, 15 TikTok and 10 YouTube posts per account per day. At a time that goes over the limit, that platform is skipped and the others still get the post.
By hand or with a tool?
If you post a few videos a week, opening three apps one by one is fine: upload the file three times, write the text three times, pick the time three times. The work grows with the number of videos and accounts. If you post every day or manage several brands, doing the same steps from one place saves time, and you can see on a calendar which video went out where.
Step by step with Wiozen Forge
- On the Accounts page, create a brand account and connect Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Each platform is connected on its own approval screen; your password never reaches Forge.
- Pick the account's publishing mode. In “Show me first”, ready videos wait for you on the Review page; in “Auto-publish”, they're scheduled for the next time without review.
- Add a video: upload an MP4, MOV or WEBM file (up to 95 MB each), paste a YouTube, TikTok, X or Kick link, or pick one from the content pool, where usage rights have already been cleared.
- Forge prepares the video with your template, writes the text and schedules it. In review mode you can edit the text, post the video right away or leave it for the next time.
- Views, likes, comments and shares of posted videos show up on the Stats page.
What does it cost?
However many platforms a video goes to, it counts as one video from your plan. The Starter plan is $19.99 a month and includes 60 videos a month, with a limit of 1 brand accounts. AI-written text is separate and charged by usage from your Wiozen balance. You can turn off auto-renewal whenever you like.
Frequently asked questions
How many videos does posting to three platforms use from my plan?
One. A video is counted once, when it's rendered, no matter how many platforms it goes to.
What happens if posting fails on one platform?
The other platforms aren't affected. The failed post shows up as an error in the panel and can be retried.
Do I give Forge my social media passwords?
No. You connect your accounts on each platform's own approval screen and can remove the connection at any time.
Does every platform get the same title?
No. The AI writes separate text for each account and platform: YouTube gets a title and description, Instagram and TikTok get a caption.
Which videos can I post?
Your own videos or videos you have the right to use. Usage rights for videos in the content pool have been obtained by the Wiozen team, and they can only be posted through Forge.
